My Recent Vacation @ Boracay Island.
Vacation @ Boracay is mostly like having an out of country travel.
This is because boracay is the place to be during summer time. What's the best time to spend the summer but with to one of the greatest beach in the world.
Boracay is located at the northern tip of Iloilo. Here is my recent trip tips and expenses for a 4 day 3 nights stays...
- Air Fare via Cebu Pacific - Php 3500 ++ per person Cebu to Kalibo vice versa (as i dont want to fly in small plane thus i took the kalibo flight direct from cebu)
- Transportation from Kalibo airport ( bus + environment fee + terminal fee + boat (caticlan to boracay port) + jeep from boracay port to hotel doorstep. = Php 1000 (tip: buy this in the airplane as this is much cheaper than buying in the airport.
- Hotel - we stayed at Red Coconut Hotel cost for 4 days and 3 nights = Php 16, 320.00, this includes breakfast. (btw: breakfast is awesome..worth the money).
- Water Activities - we only have 2 activities that is Helmet Diving = Php 600.00 each and Banana Boat Php 200.00 each for a total of Php 800.00 per person, (Tip: if you want to avail these water activities, try to check on the men outside the hotel they will give you prices direct from the people who run the business, the hotel does the same but they charged higher, way much higher ...so be smart.. there are so many activities to choose....
- Food - there are wide variety of food in the area but costly...if your in a tight budget , there are Andoks (chicken and other filipino foods) Pizza Hut and others but Costly. There are other choices if you go outside the boracay beach area... a little walk on the main road and you have McDonalds, Turo Turo which is cheap. Roughly we spend for Lunch and Dinner at around php 500-750 per day.. &750 x 4 days) Php 3000.00
- Party- Of cours what is boracay without the party and drinks to come along with it...beer cost Php 75-80 per bottle, i tried 1 cocktail (mojito) and its Php 150 per glass.
So if your planning to go to Boracay , you may want to consider the expenses, although there are other hotels which is cheaper than we stayed but we opted to have a beach front and a swimming pool along with it..so that it
